“Growing Cities”

Come to a film screening and compost workshop hosted by the Huerta del Valle Community Garden and Bon Appetit West Coast Fellow Andrew Monbouquette.  Andrew was the producer of the film Growing Cities, a Film About Urban Farming in America, which will be screened at the Dorothy Quesada Community Center located at 1010 South Bon View Avenue in Ontario.  A question and answer session will follow the film.  6:00pm – 8:00 pm

Prior to the film, a composting workshop will be held at the Huerta del Valle Community Garden, located at 831 East Belmont Street in Ontario.  Learn how food waste from McConnell Dining Hall is composted for use at Huerta del Valle, and how you can start composting too.   4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
